Electrical Design for New Dormitory

Apogee provided electrical engineering and LEED^® design services for the new construction of a three-story, 108,000 square foot on-campus student housing facility.  This project achieved LEED^® Silver certification.

Some notable services included:

• Interior and exterior lighting design to meet Sustainable Sites Credit 8 requirements;
• Exterior lighting photometric analysis;
• Exterior lighting design to include pedestrian walkways and parking lots;
• Lighting power levels to match energy model requirements;
• Lighting control system designed to meet indoor Environmental Quality Credit 6.1 requirements.
