Energy Modeling and Analysis

Apogee Consulting Group provides Energy Modeling and Analysis using Trane Trace to assess the energy and economic impacts of building-related decisions such as architectural features and HVAC equipment selection. In the model we vary configurations such as building orientation to reach an optimal energy system.

Utilizing Trane Trace and Building Life-Cycle Cost (BLCC) software, Apogee engineers perform computational analysis of capital investments in buildings, performing a Life Cycle Cost Analysis to determine actual costs. Consideration is given to the involved upfront systems costs, systems maintenance, and the energy costs. We evaluate alternative designs for almost any type of project in which higher capital investment costs result in lower future operating costs. We provide these evaluation services for both new and existing facilities.
