Multipurpose Room Renovation

As the Prime engineering design contractor for this project, Apogee Consulting Group provided complete electrical, mechanical and plumbing engineering design for the conversion of an existing 7,100 square foot kitchen space into a state of the art conference center.  the new space featured

  • New meeting rooms;
  • Large lecture hall;
  • Board room
  • Two CISCO TelePresence rooms;
  • Internet cafe;
  • Warming kitchen/serving area;
  • Equipment storage areas;
  • Additional restrooms.

Notable design and process details included:

  • Complete modification of the fire protection, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems;
  • Incorporation of physical and environmental separation from the ongoing medical operations immediately surrounding the project area;
  • Implementation of developmental phasing to minimize the project's impact on ongoing facility operations.
