Apogee provided MEP engineering and telecommunications design for this project, which included the renovation and expansion of a new 18,000 SF medical research and development building as well as the 10,000 SF renovation of ambulatory clinical space for an oncology clinic.Additionally, 6,000 SF was renovated for the campus’s compensation and pension department, which included demolition and relocation of existing structures, utilities, and full MEP services.

Apogee is the prime contractor on this renovation to update areas of the hematology and oncology suites and streamline the logistical workflow of the rooms on the eighth floor west wing (8W) of the main medical center and eight additional infusion cubicles.The project includes exam rooms and offices, men’s and women’s locker rooms, patient restrooms, and updates the Chemo IV prep pharmacy area to USP 800 standards.

Apogee was responsible for this Continuing Care facility which consists of two ‘Green House’ models approximately 11,000 SF each. The project will also include site utilities, roads, parking, and infrastructure. The new units/houses will be designed using the latest ‘Green House’ and patient centered care concepts and contain ten beds each.

Apogee provided design and construction administrative services for an OR inpatient endovascular service and ambulatory surgical service on the second floor of Building 38 and Building 2.

Apogee was charged to construct a new single-story medical specialty clinic includes cardiology, nephrology, and pulmonary. Design included facility planning studies, engineering evaluations, and delivered construction documents and specifications.

Apogee was tasked by the Downtown Augusta VAMC to improve the operational efficiency of the pharmacy while implementing necessary improvements to comply with current USP 797 and USP 800 requirements.

Apogee was tasked with a comprehensive renovation project to convert an existing space into new treatment, administrative, and support areas for Cardiology and Neurology.
