Nick Meier PE

Nick Meier serves as the Assistant Mechanical Practice Leader and brings 11 years of construction industry experience, 5 of which focusing on mechanical engineering. He is also a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, having served in Iraq from 2005 to 2006 with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division.

Nick specializes in the design and analysis of mechanical and plumbing systems, with an emphasis on energy efficiency, code compliance, constructability, and long-term performance. His knowledge of applicable building codes, industry standards, and federal design requirements allows him to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that meet each client’s operational needs. At Apogee, Nick supports the mechanical team through technical leadership, mentorship, and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient building systems.

Nick also volunteers his time with the University of Wyoming’s Architectural Engineering Department, where he mentors students and provides professional guidance on their design projects.
