VA Danville: HVAC Upgrade

Apogee was the prime contractor to upgrade the environmental conditions in four buildings of the Danville, Ill. VA Medical Center, ensuring that existing HVAC equipment meets or exceeds code, standards, and requirements for reusable medical equipment (RME) storage.

Apogee evaluated the existing air-handling equipment to determine its capacity to meet RME storage environmental requirements.

Apogee utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) collision avoidance tools to assist in the spatial coordination of the distribution equipment with architectural and structural elements.

Our team documented the structural features of the building and modeled them in Revit software.
