VA Fort Harrison: Mental Health Clinic

Apogee is a sub-consultant providing MEP engineering for this project to construct a connected facility housing primary care in supports of a patient-aligned care team (PACT) model of care.

The main goal of the project is to create a new space that accommodates as many teams as possible, integrating extended team members into the PACT module to align with VA standards of care.

Plans call for a two-story addition and interior renovation to seamlessly tie the addition to an existing structure.

The project will provide space for examination, treatment, patient education, staff education, group counseling, social activities, staff work areas and common spaces with the building addition supporting 1.5 PACT modular or six teamlets.

The new Primary Care Clinic will be divided between the two floors of the new addition with three teamlets per floor with integrated team members from mental health, clinical pharmacy, dietitians, social work and clerical staff.

Aligning with the existing architecture, a sidewalk and large vestibule will connect the addition to a recently constructed veteran drop-off area and parking lot.
