The VA Medical Center in Philadelphia partially renovated the ninth floor of Building One to accommodate the relocation of the Women’s Health Clinic. The overall goal of the project provides a separate, private, comfortable space for the care of female veterans that will meet current and future patient needs and volume and maintain infection control precautionary measures.
Apogee Consulting Group MEP’s engineering services included:
- Replacement of the HVAC systems, including a new air handler in the penthouse to supply the eighth and ninth floors
- New lighting-power, nurse-call, telephone, and data cabling
- New medical gas systems
