The project is divided into three phases, replacing the roof areas with the poorest rating scheduled first. This includes approximately 19,835 SF of areas that require asbestos abatement.
The roof, flashings, drains, scuppers, joint sealants, exterior joints, and curbs will be demolished and replaced throughout this project. The lightning protection system will be removed and reinstalled upon completion of the project.
VA Louisville: Roof Replacements
Apogee replaced the roof systems for Buildings One, Six and Twelve at this Louisville VA campus.
Building One has approximately 57 roof sections which totals about 88,000 SF. Building 6 has two sections totaling 5,300 SF, and Building 12 has three sections which total about 7,100 SF.
